La Parva Ski Resort General Information

La Parva is family oriented ski area, with a greater tendency towards private dwellings and condominiums than hotels, and is located 45 km from downtown Santiago. In general, it is a less populated villa than other ski resorts and has the longest and most varied ski slopes in the Central Andes Range. Its connectivity with its neighbors, El Colorado and Valle Nevado, make La Parva an ideal spot for the family’s winter vacations in an exclusive ski area that has access to all the bustle and services of its neighboring ski areas. Its services include a ski school, equipment rental, repair shops, clinic, safety patrol, and heliski service. Since La Parva faces north, it enjoys the most colorful afternoons and sunsets.

How to get there

KL Adventure offers a 24 hr. daily shuttle service departing from Santiago airport, hotels and KL Ski Rental Shop located at the main road that access the three main ski areas. Avda Las Condes 12207 right next to Montecarlo Supermarket, Salco Brand pharmacy, and banks.

Ski Slopes and Ski Lifts

La Parva has an exceptional skiable domain with more than 50 hectares and over 30 marked trails, the longest one being Barros Negros, which extends for almost 4 km (2.5 miles). There are slopes for beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert skiers. The highest lift reaches an altitude of 3,630 meters (11,906 feet), and there are a total of 14 lifts; including a double, a triple, and a quad chairlift, plus 10 “Poma” lifts.

Restaurants

La Parva offers the service of 4 restaurants distributed between the villa and the skiable peak, such as “3,100” near the upper part of the Las Vegas lift or “Las Pircas” at the highest point of the ski area. When you ski past these places, the delicious aromas will tempt you. There are also the following alternatives:

ST-Tropez With a Brazilian chef and experience in several 5-star international restaurants, featuring exotic as well as Italian food. It also has breakfast and happy hours in the afternoons.

La Marmita traditional mountain atmosphere for family gatherings specializing in cheese and desert fondues, steaks, soups, and fresh salads…

El Manzanito Restaurant at the foot of the slopes that offers a varied menu based on fish, beef, pastas, and delicious sandwiches. It also has an après ski bar.

Pub El Piuquen La Parva neighbors and visitors can enjoy delicious pizzas and delicate mountain flavors accompanied by daily films of heliski, helisurf, and live music.

3.100 Restaurant located in the middle of the slopes at the altitude of 3,100m with the best panoramic view of the mountains and the valley of Santiago, offering delicious kebabs, sandwiches, salads, pisco sours, and all types of beverages, open daily until 5:00 pm.

La Pirca Restaurant located in the highest skiable zone of La Parva at 3,600 m with reduced menu but excellent quality savory choices; trout, salmon, soups, etc.

Lodging

There are several options available especially condominiums, apartments, and large private dwellings. KL Mountain Lodge manages and offers lodging in all of this ski area’s alternatives, its greatest offer being private dwellings and apartments. The apartments and dwellings are offered with daily cleaning service, clean sheets and towels, and it is possible to reserve additional services such as maid service for daily cooking and/or child care, daily transport to dine in other spots in the mountains (Farellones, Colorado and/or Valle Nevado), mobile phone rentals, etc.

KL Mountain Lodge manages a wide variety of apartments and dwellings with different capacities, equipment, access to slopes, and view of the valley of Santiago, ranging from superior categories to the more elegant luxury units. We classifies these apartments and dwellings based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as its equipping and proximity to ski slopes.

Studio 3 single beds, 1 bathroom, American-style kitchen, ski hall, TV, 50 to 70 meters from the ski slopes.

Parva Doble 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bedroom 4 single beds, 1 bathroom, American- style kitchen, terrace, ski hall, TV, storage area, parking, 10 to 70 meters from the ski slopes.

Parva Especial 3 or 4 bedroom apartments, 7 to 8 beds, 2 bathrooms, American-style kitchen, terrace, TV, storage area, 10 to 70 meters from the ski slopes.

Parva Grande 4 or 5 bedroom apartments, 9 to 14 beds, 3 bathrooms, American-style kitchen, terrace, ski hall, TV, storage area, 10 to 70 meters from the ski slopes.

Chalets Mountain chalets and houses, totally equipped with 2 to 4 bedrooms, 4 to 14 beds, 1 to 3 bathrooms, American-style kitchen, ski hall, TV, 20 to 70 meter from ski slopes, ski in/out alternatives. Ask for full description upon request for reservation.
