With descents of 3,280 vertical feet (1,050m) and 6,177 square miles (1,600 ha) of superb terrain, El Arpa—South America’s only snowcat-serviced resort—provides unsurpassable off-piste skiing.
You’ll marvel at the awesome views of Mt. Aconcagua—at 22,841 feet (6,962m) the western hemisphere’s highest mountain—and savour the tranquility and grandeur of the high Andes.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Santiago – El Arpa. Early transfer to Rancho Avalanchas, the Ski Arpa base camp, a stone lodge situated at 8,822 feet (2,689m). You’ll make four trips by snowcat to the summit of the resort (six trips on the private tours), located at an exhilarating 12,270 feet (3,740m). You’ll carve countless powder turns in the 3,500 vertical feet (1,050m) of descent, while the high summits of the Andes stand sentinel above you. In the evening we’ll transfer you to a picturesque nearby hotel where you’ll re-live the days highlights over a great dinner.

Day 2 Hotel – El Arpa. Early transfer to El Arpa. We continue to explore the outstanding alternatives offered by this superb snowcat-serviced resort. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to Santiago. And Full Arpa Cat Skiing comes to an end!
