Tour Description

In the popular imagination, the name ‘Patagonia’ conjures images of the last frontier, remote, wild, and exotic. While Patagonia remains an exclusive destination it is no longer inaccessible. The landscape, however, is wild—and breath-takingly beautiful. With its eclectic mixture of mountain, glacier, native forest, plain, fjord, and ocean it is a land of dramatic contrasts and a place like no other on earth.
Using the alluring Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego as a base, this ski tour invites you to discover the staggering beauty of the southernmost region of the South American continent. You’ll ski through hushed lenga and guindo forests and ascend and descend rugged peaks in the Martial range, with their outstanding views over the historic Beagle Channel. Thanks to its latitude and low constant temperatures, Ushuaia enjoys the longest ski season in South America.
