The group is leaving behind the base camp to go to High Camp I...
Today they bid adieu to base camp and make the slow move to Camp 1 at Max 4,900m (16,076 ft) with the rest of their gear. All unnecessary equipment has been left at Plaza Argentina to be carried out on the mules.
There is a really great atmosphere on the group, they have a lot of fun. Ben is doing a lot of picture and some video...
